Whitehouse Common Primary ask - What shall we put in Rocky's backpack?

As Rocky's time at Whitehouse Common draws to a close, 5AG spent some time trying to decide what we should put in his backpack to represent his stay with us.
As we are in England, we thought it should represent our country but we were also wanting it to represent our school as he is now moving on to another school in England.

The children talked in pairs and came up with suggestions; as you can see there were lots!
Each pair then had three votes for their favourite ideas.
The winning four were chosen along with our school logo!

However, we decided to share an image representing all our ideas in the PicCollage below.

  1. What a wonderful lesson where you have all worked together to decide what you would like Rocky to share with others. Why did you choose Paddington Bear?

  2. I agree, what an amazing lesson. I can't wait to share this with my pupils after half term. They are really enjoying following Rocky on his travels...
